You are hereby notified that the Zoning Board of Appeals of Winnebago County, Illinois will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at 5:30 P.M. in the County Board Room, 8th Floor of Winnebago County Courthouse, 400 West State Street, Rockford IL 61101 as directed by the Winnebago County Board via resolution 2014 CR 056 to consider the following:
THE COUNTY OF WINNEBAGO, IL, REPRESENTED BY HINSHAW & CULBERTSON, LLP, ATTORNEYS AND CAMIROS, LTD, PLANNING CONSULTANTS, IS PROPOSING TO REPEAL CHAPTER 90 - ZONING AND CHAPTER 74 - SUBDIVISIONS OF THE WINNEBAGO COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES AND ADOPT A NEW CHAPTER 90 - TO BE KNOWN AS THE UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE WHICH CONSISTS OF BOTH NEW AND FORMER ZONING AND SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS FOR UNICORPORATED AREAS OF THE COUNTY OF WINNEBAGO ADDRESSING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: TITLE, PURPOSE AND INTENT; ADMINISTRATIVE BOARDS, COMMITTEES AND OFFICIALS; ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES; LAND USE APPLICATIONS AND DEVELOPMENT REVIEW PROCEDURES; SUBDIVISION APPLICATION; ENFORCEMENT; ZONING MAP; AGRICULTURAL AND OPEN SPACE DISTRICTS; RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS; COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS; INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS; OVERLAY DISTRICTS; CRITICAL AND SENSITIVE AREAS; CONSERVATION DESIGN DISTRICT; TRADITIONAL NEIGHBORHOOD DESIGN DISTRICT; USE STANDARDS; PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS; COMMERCIAL WIND POWER GENERATING FACILITIES; ON-SITE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS; OFF-SITE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS; LANDSCAPING AND SCREENING REQUIREMENTS; NONCONFORMITIES; SIGNS; OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING; AND DEFINITIONS.
