Winnebago County Geographic Information System (WinGIS)
A GIS (Geographic Information System) is a collection of computer software/hardware as well as data and analytic methods used to view and manage information about geographic places. A GIS links a location to information. Specifically, WinGIS offers detailed parcel information and aerial photography for every parcel in Winnebago County.
The WinGIS Agreement was officially accepted on February 10, 2000, and so was born the Winnebago County Geographic Information System or simply, WinGIS.
