Welcome to the County of Winnebago, Illinois Website.  On behalf of the County employees, I am pleased to offer this website as a tool for you to find information on our County including government, economic growth,  local communities, housing, entertainment, restaurants, and hotels.  Our County's central location at the top of the State of Illinois allows easy access to us from larger cities such as Chicago IL, Milwaukee WI, and Madison WI.  

Our focus is on providing a safe community for our citizens and visitors, economic growth and development, providing a solid job base and job opportunities, protecting our green spaces, and promoting tourism.
