Press Release-Terry Flint Jury Trial

Winnebago County State’s Attorney Joe Bruscato announces that Terry L. Flint (D.O.B. 11/18/1961) was found guilty of felony Domestic Battery after a jury trial in front of the Honorable Judge Randy Wilt.


In August of 2017, Rockford Police were dispatched to 505 Seminary Street. Officers met with a victim who reported that the defendant, Terry Flint, had battered her. Officers observed injuries on the victim, and saw that her hair and clothing were wet. The victim had been married to the defendant for three years prior to the incident. The defendant had a prior Domestic Battery conviction.


Domestic Battery is a Class 4 Felony that is punishable by a sentence of either 1-3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections or probation. The sentence is followed by four years of Mandatory Supervised Release.


Flint is scheduled to be sentenced on June 1st, 2018 at 10:30am in front of the Honorable Judge Randy Wilt in Courtroom 478.
