On May 6th, 2019, Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 200 block of Northway Park Road in Machesney Park for a medical assist. The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy and determined that Stoner died as a result of blunt force trauma.  Sheriff’s Detectives conducted a follow-up investigation that was reviewed by the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office.  As a result, charges were authorized and a warrant was issued for the defendant, Kent M.
